School Business Administrator/Board Secretary Responsibilities include: 

• Ensure audit-compliant, cost-effective and efficient administration of the district's financial affairs including budgeting, accounting, purchasing, management of funds, payroll, inventory management and auditing

• Manage and oversee non-instructional district operations including food service, custodial and maintenance services, engineering and construction, insurance, elections, information technology, and transportation

• Provide leadership and supervision to Business Office staff

• Provide leadership and support to district staff relative to financial and Business Office functions

• Serve as the liaison with local, state and federal agencies, and the Cresskill community, relative to district finances and operations

Qualifications include: 

• Valid NJDOE School Business Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility

• Master's Degree, CPA preferred

• Five years of public school business administrator experience (preferred)

• Supervisory experience (preferred)

• Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA) certification (preferred)

• Ability to use technology related to general office operation and school financial management

• Excellent communication and human relations skills

• An established record of professional integrity, and the ability to cultivate effective relationships with administrators, staff, parents, community leaders, and outside vendors

Salary commensurate with experience/Competitive benefits package 

Start Date: July 1, 2019 or as soon as possible

Marching Band Assistant

Cresskill High School seeks a Marching Band assistant for the  2019-2020 school year to assist with all marching band rehearsals and performances.  Assistant will need to be at all practices and football games, 2 Sunday festivals and our 6 day band camp at the end of August.  Woodwind specialist with marching experience preferred but brass specialists may also apply.
