2022 Winter Sports Spectator Guidelines

2022 Winter Sports Spectator Guidelines

Effective tomorrow, January 5th, 2022 & until further notice

Due to the unfortunate spike in Covid cases recently, the following guidelines will be implemented for hosting home basketball and wrestling events.

Spectators

  • There will be two family members per participating athlete for each event.  Specific team coaches will manage these procedures for their respective teams for each home game.
  • Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the start time of the game you are attending.  You may need to wait outside the building for the previous game to finish, and for the gym and hallways to be cleared in order to gain entry.
  • Face coverings and social distancing are required at all times while in the building.
  • No food or drink are allowed in the gym.
  • All spectators to an event will need to clear the gym and building as soon as the game is over.

Live Streaming

  • We are actively working to arrange for live streaming of home events and will provide updated information on the school website and school Twitter feeds once available.
  • For away events, many schools are still offering live streaming of their games.  Some may charge a fee for their live stream. We cannot control what other schools decide to do, however, we will share the link for away contests when they become available to us on our schedule.

Sideline/Bench Area

  • Players not involved in play will be wearing face coverings.
  • Sidelines will be limited to active participants and essential personnel.
  • To the largest extent possible, social distancing will occur on the sidelines.
