I am honored that the Cresskill BOE and Mr. Burke have entrusted me with the important responsibility of serving as the new principal of Edward H. Bryan School.
The 2021 year is my fourteenth in education. I received my bachelor's degree in Special Education from Rowan University in 2006, and was awarded a Master’s degree from the University of London Institute of Education in Social Justice and Education. For the past five years I have been the principal of the Lillian M. Steen School in Bogota. While in Bogota I was able to complete my Doctorate of Education from Seton Hall University in K-12 Education Leadership. I am pleased to say that thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the teachers and staff at Steen school, we achieved the distinguished Blue Ribbon award in 2020. These varied experiences have given me a rich background of educational knowledge and experience which I am confident will serve me well in my duties as your new principal.
Additionally, as a 2002 Cresskill High School graduate, I know the Cresskill tradition of academic excellence first hand. I am committed to continuing that legacy while modifying and adapting to the world your children will inherit. I look forward to meeting and getting to know each and every one of you, as well as your children. I believe that a strong home/school connection is the foundation for a successful education. My door will always be open to you. Enjoy the remainder of your summer and stay safe and healthy.
