Summer School for Advancement

In order to register for a summer course for advancement, a student must have an A average in their current course. Students who qualify must complete the application and obtain supervisor approval prior to enrolling in the course. The minimum grade in the summer course needed to receive credit is a B. Students must also pass a final exam at the end of the summer as scheduled by contacting the supervisor. Students are allowed to advance only once for each core content area throughout their time in Cresskill School District. Due to NJDOE regulations, students taking Geometry or Algebra II summer courses are required to take the NJSLA exam course completion. Algebra I is not allowed for summer advancement.
