Pride Month in June

Throughout June, Cresskill Middle and High School raises its consciousness to “Pride Month,”  a time dedicated to acknowledging the presence, participation, and valued place of our LGBTQIA+ students, parents, staff, and community partners who enrich and shape our school’s past, present, and future.

As we draw attention to “Pride Month,” we must acknowledge the personal truths of our colleagues and peers as they pertain to our commitment to proudly honoring the identities of all members of our middle/high school family.  With this in mind, it is necessary to consider our building as a safe place where any student can find a caring adult or supportive peer.

In this spirit, we join together to support all LGBTQIA+ individuals within the Borough of Cresskill and beyond. As a school, we will continue to unapologetically state our priority in knowing and demonstrating that love and respect for everyone will always remain our primary values.  Please keep this reflection in mind this month in light of our commitment moving forward to exemplify an inclusive learning community of respect for and acceptance of the dignity and the humanity of all.
