No Place for Hate

2021-2022 No Place For Hate Gold Star School

We are proud to announce that Cresskill Middle School/High School has recently earned Gold Star Distinction as a 2021-2022 No Place for Hate School!  We thank Ms. Megan Lynch and her student group for developing outreach initiatives for students despite the challenges we faced throughout this school year.  This is now the third year in a row that our school has been recognized, and we are committed to continuing this meaningful work to foster the best learning atmosphere possible for all students and staff in our school.   Thank you again to Ms. Lynch and our student leaders for their commitment to this meaningful initiative!

What is No Place For Hate?

With public displays of hate on the rise, it is more important than ever for schools to commit to programs that clearly define expectations in behavior for all members of the community. Whether you are a student, educator, or family member, you have a role to play in combating bias and bullying as a means to stop the escalation of hate.  No Place for Hate, an initiative of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), offers the opportunity for school communities to work together to combat prejudice and enhance a culture of respect.  No Place for Hate is a self-directed program helping all of the stakeholders take the lead on improving and maintaining the school climate so all students can thrive.
